When an athlete gets singled out for the cover of Sports Illustrated, a low whisper can be heard through the readership: "What's going to happen to him? How is the cover jinx going to ruin her season? 
Well, less than 24 hours after writing our post on Michael Phelps, he lost his endorsement deal with Kellogg's (big ouch) and was banned from swimming competitions for three months (slap on the wrist).
Not sure if this trend will continue, but celebs beware. We may just be scratching the surface of the awesome power of Owl Power.
