April Fools Day has come a long way.
I remember growing up we would try and trick people on the playground. We'd point up in the sky and yell "Hey, look at that dead bird!" and laugh as people looked up. Or we'd tell a buddy "Hey, guess what - Jenny likes you!" Our friend's eyes would get big, he'd smile and then we'd yell "April Fools!" Ah, the good ole days...
Now, April Fools Day is better than ever thanks to the internet. People are so information starved today that they will believe almost anything. As long as it looks legit and/or features a spokesperson with an accent.
